RH Foster Energy – Car Wash, Gas Station & Convenience Store
Bangor
Description
RH Foster wants to combine three lots — including the old Captain Nick's restaurant and a closed car wash — into one site with a new 7,100 sq ft convenience store, six fuel dispensers, and a two-bay automated car wash. The plan cuts curb cuts from seven to four and adds stormwater treatment.
Impact summary
The project should improve the messy corner of Union Street and Griffin Road by consolidating driveways and pulling access away from the intersection, though the added traffic will need state DOT sign-off.
